these instructions have been written for win7 32bit
the trick was to edit the strings in the driver .inf files so that the device appears to be one that mobile partner recognises
1 - install vmc lite from the usb key
2 - go into vmc lite and goto settings > general > start and exit
3 - for when "windows starts up" select "do not start this program"
4 - close vmc lite by right clicking in the status bar and close
5 - download this file it includes mobile partner and the modified drivers
6 - extract the file somewhere good like c:\
7 - go into device manager and uninstall the 4 vodafone driver files and tick the delete drivers box
8 - scan for hardware changes then install the 4 huawei drivers manualy by clicking the update driver box then click browse
9 - direct it to c:\Mobile Partner\k3765 or wherever you extracted the files to
10 - repeat for the remaining unknown devices
11 - create shortcut to c:\Mobile Partner\startup.exe on your desktop and run it! youre done
it will now work for both vmc lite and mobile partner
if you have any difficulty or you can simplify this process then feel free to do so i have given you the path now you can follow it
