Well, if you want to de-customize your LTE Vodafone K5005 into a perfect HUAWEI E398, just flash it with this version firmware:

E398_Update_11.335.27.00.000

Note that you need for password flasher...

After you can flash the dashboard of your E398 with the latest MP.V23

Updated also the Mobile Partner. What's up with all those ads? Not nice.
I also update the UTPS with the one from T-Mobile.de. Lots of languages, less ads than the one from Huawei.

Are you sure K5005 is locked? Could you try to detect it by dc-unlocker when there is not original sim card inserted to modem and copy here what is detected?
