Oh dear, shows what an idiot I am... I think I've managed to break my card.
It was an Orange France GTM378, GI0201-11079. I hex edited the Superfire GTM378 file (13,764 Kb) which didn't work, then tried the iCON 7.2 file (16,664 Kb) which - I thought - worked. It flashed but did not manage to reset the card, and then Windows Update took me to an Asus download - WWAN_VT32_090203.zip.
Now, this installs GlobalConnect 2.2.0.496, and the device shows up ok in Device manager but only "Device found, wait while initializing..."
I can't figure out what firmware has been flashed - I can't HyperTerminal to the card or anything.
Any suggestions outside buying another card?!
Thanks!
