ZTE WF720 Hidden functions? Data via USB?

I was curious if anyone knos if the ZTE WF720 might have hidden data functions for example or other methods by which to control it. Also looking to be able to set to "Auto On" so that it always turns on.

The WF720 is a device to connect a regular phone to. It has a USB port that I used for a firmware update after unlocking by another method. . Linux recognizes it as a modem but seems I can not connect.
