Hi,
I have a ZTE MF831 modem that was working fine, but after I tried to detect it with DC-Unlocker (without a SIM inserted), the modem disconnected and now it no longer appears properly in Windows.
Currently:
How can I recover it or restore normal mode so it becomes usable again?

I have a ZTE MF831 modem that was working fine, but after I tried to detect it with DC-Unlocker (without a SIM inserted), the modem disconnected and now it no longer appears properly in Windows.
Currently:
- Device Manager shows only a USB Composite Device (VID_19D2), but no COM ports.
- DC-Unlocker can’t detect the modem anymore.
- I tried different drivers, including ZTE Handset USB Driver, but nothing changes.
- I also tried on another PC — same issue.
- I suspect it may have entered EDL or diagnostic mode.
How can I recover it or restore normal mode so it becomes usable again?
