No luck yet. My net connect is somewhat less than straight forward as I use a proxy to access the net. I'm having similar problems with adobe update...
Will keep you posted. Double check your net connection & firewall settings.
The username is the same. I've verified my account and passkey + acc. bal, all O.K. I would assume that if my username (sparkolas - all L-case) and PK didn't match there would little to zero delay in stating so - but the client-1.00.0702 takes ~10s to post:
- Error connecting to server ! It appears there is no connection - yet when the program is opened - as I'm well sure you Know - a little grey window states "connecting to server for 2-3s then the client interface window loads. No problem. Now it is very important to know that my internet connect is configured through a proxy - a setup I must do for most programs accessing the net (Firefox, Google Chrome, Skype) and they fly straight. Does this option exist for your client-ware? I'm currently using XP SP3 and have configured the proxy in "internet options" through the control panel.

Here is no block and all servers are working. You should check, if the firewall or other software is not blocking the connection. Check, if you have internet conenction at unlock time. Try to use other connection type or other computer.
Yes, proxy may be problem why you can not connect to server.
Also, use latest - 949 version of dc-unlocker. This may help.
Thanks for your reply - I realize you are one busy lad.
Installed v-949 - modem detect! Super
I turned off McAfee's firewall and real time scanner - No change for server connect
No alternative net connect available at this time.
Any other ideas as to why no server connect?
My current net connect carrier is with Rogers (Canada) through a second party via as mentioned before a simple proxy. Both browsers I use [Firefox & Google's Chrome] - once configured - fly right but I do have problems with support program updates like Quicktime & Java.

DC - UnLocker Does Not Tolerate Net Connections Via Proxy Server
Just to finalize this thread:
The server running the show at DC-Unlocker(.com) or rather the DC-Unlocker software appears to not tolerate net connections using a proxy server for internet access - as is the case with mine.
After many attempts, DC-Unlocker finally worked (quite well) using a
pathetically slow (~30kb/s) DIAL-UP connection.
Apart from turning the virus protection
off and exploring every proxy configuration - the only thing that flies right is a straight net connection.
