  • New Dongle User - Help needed

    Hi There,

I have recently purchased an Unlocker dongle with 50 credits and I have been trying for past 3 hours to unlock Huawei E3131 dongle which is locked to T-Mobile UK, but I am going no where.

I am using Win 7, and my PC is detecting the unlocker dongle ok and is showing it as active.

I only have 1 laptop so I am trying to use the E3131 on the same laptop to which I am connected to internet.

When I connect E3131 to my laptop while connected to Internet, it just comes up with Page Not found and the unlocker dongle doesnt detect the E3131 dongle, but as soon as I disconnect my wireless it detects it but when I try to unlock it says Error 62 cannot connect to server because I had to disconnect internet.

I have already gone through the instructions where I go into Change adapter settings and move the Remote NDIS connection to the bottom of the list, but even after making these changes I am unable to unlock the modem.

Kindly please help me out on how to unclock my E3131. I even generated the unlock code to manually enter in the modem, but it is not giving me the option to enter it when I try to use another networks sim in it.

    Please help.... urgent please

    Try to do these:
Go to Control Panel > Network Connections > Right click on your modem connection > Properties > Internet protocol (TCP/IP) > Properties > Advanced > IP settings > Uncheck "Automatic metric". Set Interface metric as "200". OK > OK > OK

Computer restart might be needed to apply changes.

      Doesnt Work

      Hi,

      Thanks for the help.

But this doesnt seem to work either, I tried setting the metric to 200 as you suggested but nothing has changed.

My ISP LAN address is 192.168.1.0/24 and I can see that my modem address is also 192.168.1.1. Is this is what causing the issue?

Any other ways to unlock the dongles please?

      Regards

Try this: Go to Control Panel > Network Connections > Right click on your modem connection > Properties > Internet
        protocol (TCP/IP) > Properties >
        IP: 192.168.2.1
        Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
