unlocking dongle

hi there will the sim in the dongle have to be in use for the unlock to work ,or should the unlock work with no sim in!!?, by in use what i mean if it was a contract sim and the cotract has run out will the unlock still work !!!?

There must be not original sim card inserted during detection/unlock process.

you need to insert other providers sim card, the one you want to use.

There was a misunderstanding between us. You can try unlocking it not only with the card you want to use but any not original card.
