New account - Check account status - Error connecting to server !

Created an account and paid my credits.
But when I try to check my login - the first step - I get this error

I have read through the forum articles.
Have rebooted the pc.
Have turned off the firewall.
It's as if my account has to wait to be activated

Wrong username and password was entered too many times and server has blocked you. Now have unblocked and you should be able to connect.
