    Hello

I unlocked my ZTE MF626 modem years ago succesfully.

Now I am trying to read the dashboard, but it seems it cannot connect to the server anymore. My DC Unlocker username is albertocastillo

    Code:
For correct ZTE modem detection, please plug modem with invalid operator SIM inserted. Wait till software starts the modem, close ZTE software and then you can detect modem with DC-Unlocker.

    DC - Unlocker 2 Client 1.00.1154

    Detecting modem :

    selection :
    manufacturer - ZTE modems
    model - Auto detect (recommended)

    Found Applications port COM3
    Found Diagnostics port COM5

    Found modem : MF626
    Model : ZTE MF626
    IMEI : Hidden
    Firmware : BD_P673M3V1.0.1B02
    Compile date / time : Sep 03 2008 17:28:04
    Chipset : Qualcomm MSM6246
    NAND Flash : SAMSUNG_K9F1208
    SIM Lock status : unlocked

    ZTE modems Reading Dashboard ...

    Error connecting to server !

Besides that, I would like to know if I can use ZTE Qualcomm Writer or any other tool to change the IMEI number of the device. The reason for this is to be able to use it in Turkey since I will be going there soon.

Thank you very much in advance.

First try to log in to server via server tab, then try to read dashboard, not, you can not use your modem for internet for this procedure. If you are unable to log in then provide your username and ip address from which you try to connect to us.

      Hello

I can't use my 3G SIM card right now, so that's why I am using my own personal computer, which has connection to the net to use this program.
I just disabled all firewalls in case there could be a problem with them but nothing. However I can say that there are times when it's able to connect. If you try 10 times, only 2 of them might be succesful. I was able to read the dashboard, update it myself and write it back to the modem. Now I would like to access the support area and see if the ZTE Qualcomm Writer can be useful to replace the IMEI number of the device. But I can't.

I don't feel secure posting my IP address here. Can I send it to you privately?

EDIT: I just managed to get into the support area and downloaded the ZTE Qualcomm Writer, but as soon as I try to install it it says dongle not found. So I assume that maybe it's not compatible with my device.

How could I change the IMEI number of this device?

To use ZTE Qualcomm Writer you must have dc-unlocker/rocker/vygis or infinity dongle connected to pc, if do not have any of them, you won't be able to use the program. It is possible repair imei only, not change. Sorry, but we do not have IMEI changing solutions yet also can not provide any information to other services that could do it.

          Oh

Ok no problem. Thanks anyway. The reason I am interested on changing the IMEI is because it will get blacklisted in Turkey (they black list all phones, modems, etc IMEI numbers that are not bought in the country, and I am from Spain).

Maybe by backing up the NV_DATA of the device and then hexediting the file's IMEI number? (Assuming it's there) and then writing back to the device?

          A few more questions:
          My device's firmware is: BD_P673M3V1.0.1B02
I noticed that on the support area there's this firmware "BD_P671M3V1.0.0B06" for model MF622. Is it compatible with model MF626 as well?. It seems to be an higher revision, but please note the bold, underlined numbers.
It's on dgtk format, how can this be installed?
How can I get that special dongle to use ZTE Qualcomm Flasher? I actually didn't get to find any information on the tutorials for this.

          Thanks

Sorry do not have further advise on changing imei. Also do not know if firmware will be compatible with your device, if it is different then original chances are low that it will be applied successfully. You can buy DC-Unlocker dongle from our resellers. Most of them sell dongles worldwide. You should contact resellers to know the prices of dongles and what payment methods they accept.
