  • Unlock on a machine that's already on the internet

    Yeah!, I know the problem!

It's very unclear how to use this software.

In my experience, the truth is you cannot connect to the internet via the modem you're unlocking.

You have to find a machine that's connected to the internet by some other means, then plug your device you want to unlock into that machine and use dc-unlocker on it.

Obviously, you need to login to the dc-unlocker server via that other internet connection.

I believe this will fix most problems.

    It fixed mine!

    Love and peace,

    Sol

      Oh yeah?

First, please learn to read... you have berated me and then you have repeated my advice...

Second, explain why when the unlocked modem(s) (plural... I unlocked 2 modems with DC-unlocker) are used with Vodafone, the Vodafone software immediately locks the modems again!!!

My 'unlocked' DC-Unlocker modems are both now still locked and unuseable with any other service than Vodafone, even though DC-unlocker displays that they are both unlocked!!

Have you got an answer to this problem concerning 'DC-unlocker the best tool for modems till now and the future since the time they started .....'

What a waste of time and money.

I would appreciate my modems being fully unlocked from Vodafone, since this is the service I paid for.

You can unlock same modem again without credits. Also with unlocked modem you need to use not customized by provider connection software. Cutomized by provider software (as you use now - vodafone software) may not accept other sim cards than Vodafone. Thats why you need to use not customized connection software. Both things are written many times in this forum. Do not say that it is a waste of time and money if you even did not try to find a solution or to read other posts here.

Thank you for your email. Again, may I say you are unable to read and comprehend.

I have told you the DC-Unlocker software says these two modems ARE UNLOCKED!!

Of course I am using what you refer to as 'not customized by provider connection software' to test them. I am using Mobile Partner from Huawei. It only recognises one of the modems and says the device is not available even with the Vodafone software completely disabled.

This tells me that the 'device unlocked' message in the DC-unlocker software is WRONG.

With your advice, I will try to unlock these modems once more and then retest them with Mobile Partner.

Do you know where I can download a version of connection software that will work with both the Vodafone K3520 and Vodafone K3765 (both manufactured by Huawei)? Please don't tell me to go to the Huawei home page, because I have spent literally hours searching Huawei to no avail. Please give me a specific url where I can download software. I will be very grateful to you.

          Thanking you in advance,

          Sol

About K3765 infromation you can check here: http://www.dc-unlocker.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1634
About K3520. It should work with mobile partner from our web page. Just need both software tobe installed. After you connect modem wait till original software starts and finds the modem. Then close original software and start mobile partner.

To use your modem with other providers you can use this program
http://rapidshare.com/files/32456446...alup_setup.rar as the vodafone one will not let you & keep telling you to put the voda sim in.
