Read Bootloader code from Huawei SHT-W09

Hello - I'm looking for some more help please!

I bought a 3 day license and have been trying to read the bootloader code from my Mediapad M5 (which I'm led to believe is supported: https://www.dc-unlocker.com/supporte.../huawei_phones).

When I run dc unlcocker client it recognises the phone but tells me "
This phone cannot be serviced with DC Unlocker, but may be supported in Test Point (software or hardware) by HCU software"

Luckily HCU client says it's supported too! https://hcu-client.com/supported-models.php which I duly try to read the boot loader code but then HCU tells me "Read bootloader code fail!"


I'm kind of at a loss what to do next and if I can retrieve the bootloader code from my device with the dc unlocker suite of tools?

On DC-unlocker you can service it only if it is on Android 7 or Android 8 with not higher than a 2018 sec patch. Later versions require testpoint method as suggested by the software. Which will require opening a device to put it into this mode if software testpoint not available as per tutorial on HCU website.
