Honor X9b Qualcomm with Snapdragon

Halo I just got the Honor X9b with Qualcomm cpu and Snapdragon 6 Gen 1. I found out about the FB lock on this phone and everything it comes with. I tried with Fastboot flashing unlock command and the phone said allow unlock and I went through the steps. The phone deserted itself and I thought this was easy.. But when the phone restarts its still in locked state. I just want to unlock the bootloader so I can root, so I can enjoy playing stabile 120 fps. That's about it. Im seriously considering getting a different phone. But don't know which is best and easiest to unlock and manage. I'm willing to pay. I really just don't want a brick. Thanx.
