Only had Dongle for 4 days.

Cannot get dongle to unlock E160G.

No SIM card in modem.

The modem dashboard/software turned off.

The dc-unlocker_client-1.00.0267 finds the dongle and reports the details at the base of the client.

The client finds the E160G Modem, and reports the E160g modem and it's details.

plus the COM ports, 3 and 4.

Not sure how to see if there are credits on dongle.

Do I need a user ID and password ?

Do you have any experience with using the DC-unlocker dongle?

Any help would be appreciated,

yes ofcourse.if u have a DC Unlocker dongle,u do not need any user Id and the password.your user name is the dongle ID.If u need to check the dongle credit,just go to the Server tab and press the check loging button.

Whats the problem with the E160G?Please post the log here.

Thanks for helping, much appreciated.

Trying to resolve my dongle on the forum, other people as well as myself will learn.

The username is the same as the dongle ID,
and also "Use dongle build in" is checked(has tick in box).

When I click on check login an error is reported......

error connection to server!

Do I have to be on the internet when starting?

DC Unlocker dongle is small usb dongle which you have to buy from the resellers instead of buy credits for unlocking.it is very usefull if you unlocking modems daily as a business.but if you want to unlock only one modem,no use of buying a dongle.Dongle also use the same DC Unlocker software.
