Success (sort of) using a different computer
Ok, so I make it through the whole process and now the Unlocker client tells me my AT&T MiFi 2372 is unlocked. So far so good.
But, when I put in a known good SIM and check every config option by adding the APN, allowing roaming etc, I cannot connect to the network. It sees the carrier network and tries to connect for a few minutes but, gives up. This SIM works fine in a locked Huawei 181E, another factory unlocked MiFi 2372 that is out for warranty repair and an unlocked iPad. So I am pretty sure it is not the SIM or my account. I suppose I could be missing something but, the router looks like it is still locked. How can I tell for sure?

Painful but... successful
After trying many different options I finally got my AT&T Mifi to work with a Telus SIM. As best as I can figure. You need to...
Turn on roaming
Create a new profile
Set the APN to isp.telus.net
...here's the tricky part
Before the Wifi attach will work you must connect via the USB cable to router and to the internet via 3g. I am not sure about this but, it was only then that it started to work for me via the Mobilink3 client. (You can download this from the DC-Unlocker site) Then you can go back to using the AT&T web ui and the Wifi connection to the Mifi.
