I have a dongle with credit.

Where is the new imei unlock?

Has anyone tried to unlock their modem using the unlock by IMEI

After generating unlock code by IMEI, what application/program is used to enter the code into the modem?

Do you use someting like "SimLock_UnLock.exe" to enter the unlock code to the modem?

Hi,

Tried the new client 0283.

Selected "E160/E160G/E160X" Huawei modem.

Selected "Unlock"

Selected "Generate Unlock and Firmware codes by IMEI"

Only the Unlock code was returned, no Firmware code.

Cost 3 credits to provide unlock code, even though E160 is free unlock for dongle users. (Had 42 credits then 39 credits) No big deal.

Then selected "Generate Firmware code by IMEI" and firmware code was provided at no cost to credits.

Should the Unlock code and the Firmware code have been provided in the first request?

The Unlock code and the Firmware code both worked when entered.

yes you can put ther code in Simlock Unlock

or

try to but another operator

then it will ask you for Unlock code

you must have the unlock code in hand and enter it

that way am folowing brother its worked with me

Thanks, I tried with another operators SIM and then put the unlocking code in and it was then unlocked.

but the old model like huawei E220 you can unlock it by Simlock anlock only

maybe it not asking the unlock code when you change the sim card to another operator

it happen with me allot of time
