I have same error with u8110,but I can find solve.
First remove SIM and SD card,and switch on phone in fastboot mode (press "Vol -", "Red (End call)" and Power buttons. Hold the buttons pressed until your phone completely hangs) then connect phone to computer and press in DC unlocker client Detect phone button.When DCUnlocker write Phone not found,and in my case phone start switch on automatically, press Detect phone again, and after all process of unlocking for me end sucessfully,but i dont know,what reason of this error.

If this will not help, then restart phone, remove battery for 20 seconds, place it back and turn the phone on normally again. Try to detect and unlock it again.
Please tell us if it worked.

Thanks to both, but the solution in my case was to connect it during the first screen of logo of operator before the screen of android, autodetect and unlock no problem, please close the thread

Just to confirm this is only working solution so far for unlocking U8110. Tested with two pieces in a row and it took less than 5 minutes for unlocking both of them. Hope this will save time and help someone not to loose half of a day like me trying to unlock it in regular plug & unlock way.
