I have been trying to check login on the DC unlocker client and all I get is the reply "Error connecting to server !"

You get this error because wrong username or password was entered too many times, and you were blocked.
Now unblocked you and you should be able to connect.

Please make sure that you copy-paste password from email that you received after credits purchase.
