    Hi,

    around 17th Feb I purchased credits to unlock an iCON 431 (I tried to do this unsuccessfully but have been too busy to follow this up since)

    I have been trying to find the email that I should have received with my username (reetspetit) and password but I cannot find anything.

    I have tried a password reminder, but it tells me the address is unknown.

    Can someone please help as I am tring to get the unit unlocked.

      Many thanks -got the PM. I sent the link for reference only !

      Downloaded the latest version of the unlocker and it worked first time thanks.

      Only problem I have is not being able to use the GlobeTrotterConnect generic software. I can't see that the modem is detected.

      Any ideas on how to get the 'modem' installed with the generic drivers ?

        Do not uninstall previous software. Connect modem, wait till original software starts, close it, then run GlobeTrotterConnect . Then should work.

          So if I understand you correctly I should leave the original T-Mobile software installed ?

              Thanks, but one slight problem - if I install Globetrotter, it seems to uninstall the original software !!!!

              I then shows device not found as the original drivers have been removed.

              Any ideas ?

                  It doesn't appear too..........

                  Globetrotter installs, but no modem device is found.

                  I can use the original T-Mobile Web'n'Walk software fine - I have tried a could of different SIM cards, but I prefer the generic software better ! I also thought I'd better let you know !

                      I can't at the minute as I'm under pressure to get some jobs done, plus the stick and laptop have gone to Scotland until Saturday ! I can do next week ?
