    Thanks for your response but I had already done that.

    Have managed to unlock via alternative software that correctly identified on com23 (not com3 as unlocker software prepopulates).

    Also subsequently setup necessary 'mobile partner' software & firmware upgrade (removing Orange loader) to make connection possible.

    Maybe I need to ask for my 4 credits back. Had not posted lightly...

    Well, if you would select Autodetect(recommended), you would be able to detect your modem with DC-unlocker also, and it would pick up the correct COM23 ports also.

      I had already tried autodetect - same message. No port detected at all!

        If the modem cannot get detected, you should check these carefully:
        Make sure drivers are installed.
        Use latest DC-Unlocker client software.
        Use Autodetect.
        Make sure modem is not connected to internet.
        Make sure modems connection software is turned off.
        Try restarting your computer.
        Try other computer.
