Successful unlock - but it wont connect to the network...

OK, so I paid 1euro first thinking one credit, one device. Anyway, I paid the other 9 euros, and it unlocked the device - Huawei E586.

(software version 1.00.0390)

Now my GiffGaff SIM in there just says 'DISCONNECTED'. It did say connected, for five or ten seconds. Then it just went back to Connecting, and then disconnected.

I bought this thing on 3. I could have called 3 and had it unlocked properly for £15. Now I've spent 10Euros on nothing, and I'm going to have to pay the £15 anyway?

I don't think so. Your software does not work. Unlock my device or give me back my money.

Apologies, it has worked!

I don't know why it wasn't before. I was going to try the 'manual' method, but had it plugged in and the homepage for the device says SIM OK. It's staying connected now - I just recreated Profiles.

Yes, after unlock you must create/edit profiles and enter correct connection settings, like APN, login, password.
I found your posts offensive, so I deleted couple of them.

Thanks for that, no worries about deleting the posts! I was annoyed. It wouldn't work, kept coming up with 02-UK, then disconnecting, as I said. So until all of the other profile stuff was done - GiffGaff, and 3 - THEN it worked. I think that factor needs to be made WAY more clear!
