B593 and Tele2/COMVIQ

How to unlock Huawei B593 locked to swedish Tele2 SIM card.
Leave the SIM card from Tele2 in the router. You will not use this SIM card for internet connection. I tried with a prepaid Comviq 4G SIM card with no success unlocking the router. You cannot use the B593 router for internet connection during the unlock process.
You need an active internet connection in order to unlock B593 locked to Tele2

You need a laptop
Connect to a wifi network (not b593..). Use your mobile phone.
Connect LAN to b593
Go to Network and Sharing Center (W7)
- Change Adapter settings
- Double click on your WiFi adapter
- Properties
- TCP/IPv4
- Advanced
- Deselect "automatic metric"
- Give it a value of 25
- Close all windows
Go to Network and Sharing Center (W7)
- Change Adapter settings
- Double click on your LAN adapter
- Properties
- TCP/IPv4
- Advanced
- Deselect "automatic metric"
- Give it a value of 50
- Close all windows
Check a few webpages. Your WiFI internet connection must work before you try to unlock.
Use DC-unlocker and 7 credits.

No,reseting router will not lock it back.

Har samma problem som du. Fått anvisningar om att följa deras guider om upplåsning, vilka jag inte tycker beskriver hur routern kan detekteras. Har också provat att koppla upp datorn via Wifi mot ett annat nätverk och har då haft E593 routern ansluten via LAN på samma dator utan att få det att fungera. Då har det resulterat i att DC Unlocker client inte kunnat anslutas till servern.

Har du få någon hjälp? Hittat någon firmware?

I just bought 7 credits to unlock my huawei b593 router but it does not work!

This router i Locked to TELE 2 and i need help, because Dc unlocker program can't recognize the router.

Where can i download the unbranded firmware also? because it's now Tele 2 firmware.

Are you sure that your router is locked?

I think so. My router is Tele2 branded.
With a Telia SIM card (another service provider). The result was the SIM card is locked, enter the unlock code.
