Huawei E173 changed in to a M6290! Help!

  • Huawei E173 changed in to a M6290! Help!

    Guys. I bought a Huawei E173 (E173u-2) modem.

    Original firmware version was 11.126.25.00.76

    And then I flashed it to version 11.126.85.00.209. download firmware * (for E173).

    After flashing there is no network detection and modem name has renamed as M6290 !!

    this is dc unlocker info now>>

    Firmware : 11.126.85.00.209
    Compile date / time : Jun 21 2010 20:27:27

    My hardware version also have changed into as CDXXXXX !! what should i do now?. plz help me bro..

    Try to write back original firmware version to modem.
    Otherswise, sorry, but do not know if its possible to recover your modems original state.

      thanks for the reply.

      I tried to find my original firmware 11.126.25.00.76 or any 11.126.25.xx.xx, but couldn't. if anyone can provide me this, it will be greatly appreciated

          Update:
          Moreover, no computer -Windows nor Mac OS X- can now detect the microSD data card inserted in the unit.
