I have a Huawei E160G and I've installed the DC-unlocker client, however when I run do a search it is not detecting the card. I know its being detected by the operating system, as its showing up on My Computer. Am I missing something?

Check if you use autodetect function in dc-unlocker software. Check, if the connection software for this modem is closed. Check, if you see the modem in device manager in modems and in ports sections. -
The card is showing in device manager (in both Modem and Ports section), and I attempted to detect right after I rebooted the computer so no other software is using the device.
It still does not detect the card when I select auto-detect. I also tried to manually detect the card by selecting the model, and then the com port listed in the Ports section in the Device Manager. It says card not detected in either instance.
Any idea how I can get this working?Comment

i had the same problem i found that lifting the dongle upwards or placing the lid under it so it raises the dongle then it connects must be a dodgy casing design. also mine will only work in one of my usb ports com1Comment
