Huawei E1552

Successfully unlocked this modem using dc unlocker but it wont let me update the dashboard, i read that i need to update the firmware.
So i tried this and when i start the uodate wizard {B418} i get asked for a password it says the source version is not compatible with the target version
please input the password?

Firmware update code you can generate with DC-Unlocker.
If you unlocked your modem with DC-Unlocker, use the same username and password, detect modem, go to Unlocking tab, select "Generate firmware update code by IMEI", enter IMEI number and click "Do job".
