I would like to know if it is possible to get the code that was generated after a modem/dongle has been successfully unlocked. If it is, how would one go about retrieving it?

Depends on what modem model was unlocked. Unlock codes can be generated not for all devices.Originally posted by Berks View PostI would like to know if it is possible to get the code that was generated after a modem/dongle has been successfully unlocked. If it is Huawei modem with non-customized firmware, then after unlock you can also generate unlock code by IMEI, without any credits. In other words, unlocking same device for same user does not require credits again.

The modem that was unlocked was a Huawei B260a with firmware customized for Lime Jamaica. On the first attempt at unlocking I received the "successfully unlocked" message from the software and was successful in having it use another simcard, it however re-locked to the new simcard that I had placed inside.
I am now seeking to retry the procedure by manually enter the code to see if that will permit me to again change simcards. Whenever I try to unlock/regenerate the codes with your software now I am presented with an error 85 "already unlocked."

If you get error "already unlocked", then it means modem is already unlocked with DC-Unlocker software.
If your modems does not accept other SIM cards, then you might need to update modems firmware to unbranded one.
