I'd like to ask if you can unlock voice feature (if locked) on this modem. I am not sure if it is included in "Huawei E173" (seen at http://www.dc-unlocker.com/supported_models_1/huawei_1 ).

Try to detect modem with DC-Unlocker.
Software will show information about voice feature - enabled, disabled or not supported in current firmware.
If shown "enabled", then you do not need to enable voice - it is already enabled.
If shown "disabled", then you can enable voice using DC-Unlocker.
If shown "not supported in current firmware" - modems firmware does not support voice feature. Then you should upgrade modems firmware version to newer one or to other.

Thank you for the response. Unfortunately, I don't have the hardware at home. I am considering to buy it and I am afraid that it will be disabled. So, I'd like to know if this model (i.e. E173u) can be unlocked for voice. I am not sure if the software is branded by Telefónica O2 Czech Republic, but the case is branded.

Sorry, cannot tell you exactly if voice can or can not be activated on device, till it is detected by DC-Unlocker software.

If voice feature will be disabled on your modem - you can enable it with DC-Unlocker.
