cannot detect phone

hi
i have got the huawei u8350 - I am trying to use dc unlocker first to see if it detects the phone, but it's saying phone not found...

i am using windows 7, and in device manager, the driver is saying as 'USB Modem ADB port'

can anyone please advise?

thanks vincentas, however, I don't have any problems getting into fastboot mode (which i guess is when the loading screen hangs) - dc unlocker would just not detect the phone! do you know how to get the 'CD Drive (mobile partner)' thing to appear? It used to do it before but now no...

I am having the same issues as you and I have followed all of the instructions (installing drivers and starting phone in fast mode). No luck detecting the phone.

I have a Huawei u8350 and I'm using windows 7 starter on my Toshiba netbook.

Did you have any luck? If so, what did you do, please?

Sure you have installed driver from instructions link? Not any others.
Also, after each error restart phone by removing battery for 20 sec then connect back, then repeat detect.
Try to run dc-unlocker as administrator.
Try other computer.
