Huawei b260 -modem not found

Hi!

Modem: Huawei B260a

I tried to unlock my modem following these steps:
1. turn modem on (there is no SIM card in modem - is this a problem?)
2. connect modem with LAN cable to the PC.
3. PC is connected to the Internet over WiFi
4. start DC-unlocker 2 client (ver. 1.00.0987)
5. check server - ok
6. select manufacturer: Huawei modems
7. select model: auto detect
8. detect modem

Result:

DC - Unlocker 2 Client 1.00.0987

Detecting modem :

selection :
manufacturer - Huawei modems
model - Auto detect (recommended)

modem not found !

I tried everything suggested in other similar threads and nothing works. (https://www.dc-unlocker.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9074)
I can connect to the modem and log in so I suppose that it is working normally.
OS that I am using is Win 7, 32 bit. I tried on another computer with Win XP and the result is the same.

Any suggestions? I ran out of ideas.
