Please check those steps:
Detect your device by using autodetect option on "select model" line.
Make sure there is no software running related to your device.
This error might be caused if there are more devices connected to pc.
PC restart could solve this problem.

Detect modem by autodetect nd repeat unlock.
Are there any new unknown device in device manager after error? If so, update that device and repeat unlock.

Remove all other huawei drivers. Then restart computer. Detect phone by autodetect and repeat unlock.

Please do not select manually your device model from given list. Use "autodetect" on select model line.

As zenk _011 said, you need to find other connection method, because your problem now is that you have 2 huawei devices connected to pc.
