160E not found

Hi,

I have grabbed a second hand Huawei 160E which is unlocked,

It was on the 3 network, but I want to use it on Virgin, i have installed the Mobile Partner software....but it is saying the device is either not connected or unavailable..

Can anyone help me out here?

Well reflashing is always the next option and thats what i did...

Does original software finds the modem? Did you close original software before using mobile partner?

yeah, but the original software on it was 3, which then loaded that up..

i ended up flashing the drive with an update datcard file i found, loading mobile partner and away i went..

what i think happend is i ticked "disconnect this device" in the mobile partner and that is what it did when i went to sync the two...

the software is very much great, and i can now get access to what i want...
