  • Huawei e398u-1 with Telenor logo on it purchased from eBAY India

I recently purchased a Huawei e398u-1 on ebay india. The modem has telenor logo on it. Its unlocked and I had purchased it to use in Kuwait.
Upon installing the modem here and trying to get it up and running, I have been unsuccessful so far. The data sim was not able to register with the network. I am able to read the sim messages but unable to access the 4g Lte network.
    Can anyone help ??

I believe my local service provider operates on 1800 Mhz frequency

Have you changed connection settings for connecting to new network?

Yes I have. I created a new profile with the local Service provider APN settings. But the modem is not able to register on the network.

Could you try to detect your device with dc-unlocker and paste here what was detected. Also try to use this https://files.dc-unlocker.com/backen...D68504833D730A unbranded connect manager.

Does connection manager show network status or there is no network what so ever?

No network status what so ever. Could it be because of the bandwidth?? Viva operates on 1800Mhz and I have read that Huawei E398u-1 is at 900/2600Mhz
