8665 huawei not recognizing straight talk sim

Paid for 7 credits, unlocked my 8665 Huawei and put in my straight talk sim card (activated). Does not recognize AT&T sim card at all.

Maybe the card is damaged, have you tried to use with other cards?

no, i dont think its that.
the phone was recognizing the sim before i unlocked it, im guessing this because i got the unlock sim message. after unlocking phone using dc, it stopped recognizing the sim.
now ive had to buy an at&t sim and the $50 month of straight talk ive already paid for is useless...
