    Huawei E1553

    I have used DC to unlock my usb the following has come up saying it is unlocked.
    Found modem : E1553
    Model : Huawei E1553
    IMEI : 354112030332410
    Serial NR. : C04CAA1972007091
    Firmware : 11.608.12.02.21
    Compile date / time : Jun 19 2009 16:04:43
    Hardware ver. : CD6ATCPU
    Dashboard version : UTPS11.002.03.32.100_MAC11.110.02.22.100
    Chipset : Qualcomm MSM6246
    NAND Flash : Hynix_HYC0UEL0MF3R
    Voice feature : enabled
    SIM Lock status : unlocked
    Wrong codes entered : 0 (unlock attempts left : 10)

    The above was connected to 3, when I put in a new sim it still came up as 3 and would not let me go any further.
    Can you in simple language and with a full step by step process please help me to get this thing to work.

    Have you changed connection settings for new card?

      How do I do that,
      The computer is saying that the device driver software was not successfully installed.

      Huawei Mobile connect-3G modem#5 Failed.
      Huawei Mobile Device unplugged.

      Yet I am getting a double green flashing light.
      does this dongle work on the 900MHz or 2100 MHz frequencies?

        connection settings are changed via connection manager or web panel depends from where you make connection.
