Problem unlocking Huawei B153

Hello

I have a locked Huawei B153, and I am NOT in the country where it is locked to, so I cannot connect to Internet using it.

When I connect to the B153 unit via Wi-Fi, DC-Unlocker client can find it.

However, to unlock, I need an internet connection.

I tried connecting to two networks at the same time (Ethernet and WiFi), with Ethernet connected to my active internet connection and wifi connected to the unit to be unlocked, in such case the DC Unlocker client cannot find the B153 unit

I even made sure the active internet connection uses a separate IP range. No luck

Running in Administrator Mode over Windows 8. Appreciate any advice. I already bought the credits

Connect B153 by lan cable and wfi use for interntet connection.
Then run dc-unlocker as administrator.

What version of dc-unlocker you use? Have you checked adapter binding settings guide provided by Vincentas? Are you using autodetect option on select model line?

I am using both Autodetect or model, doesn't matter. The modem is detected when I am connected to it via Wi-Fi, but since I do not have an Internet Connection with this modem, I cannot download credits to proceed with the unlock.

When having two connections (LAN and WLAN), the modem is not detected

Try to unlock it while you connect it to pc via wifi. What do you mean by saying "I cannot download credits to proceed with the unlock. " You can buy credits before unlocking while you connected to internet by any method.

Yes I purchases the credits, then when I log in to the client, it detects I have them, then when I disconnect internet and connect to the B153 unit to unlock it, I click Unlock, it tries to connect to Internet before unlocking

Then you need to make sure that in link that was given by Vincentas your device is on the bottom of the list, then reconnect it to pc or restart pc and attempt to perform unlock again.

I am not using Ethernet to connect to the unit. I am using WiFi

I tried using Ethernet (to connect to Internet) while using WiFi to connect to the unit. When there are two active connections, DC-Unlocker does NOT detect the unit.

I tried iPhone cable tethering as well .... no bueno

Have you tried to detect your device while you are offline and it is connected via lan cable?

Earlier you've stated that you had connected it by cable. Also are you running dc-unlocker as administrator? Its done by clicking right mouse button on DC-Unlocker -> Run as... and select "run as administrator”

Oh, okay now i understand. So when you open adapter binding settings there is only one connection shown there for you? Your ethernet one?
