cant detect Huawei u8652 (consumer celluar)

Hello, I bought a credit awhile ago, but never used because the app doesnt detect my Huawei.

Any suggestions? I see someone was successful with an ATT u8652 in this form.

I just did the above, but when I put the batt back in and depressed the Vol/On/off buttons simultaneously, I got a screen up the says:

Firmware Update
Step 1/2
UNPACKING
UPDATE FAILED

so I plugn the USB cord, and wait, and wait. Nothing happens, just sits at this FAILED screen.

I tried the above procedure, and when I hold down the Power/Vol keys at same time, a screen comes up that says:

Firmware Update
Step 1/2
UNPACKING
UPDATE FAILED


I then plug in the Usb cord, and it sits there doing nothing forever.

What should I try now please?

Have you tried to restart phone by removing its battery for 20 seconds then placeing it back and repeat the procedure.

Means you do not enter correct mode.
Try to remove sd card if it is, then repeat procedure. Also, try to keep buttons pressed longer.

I don't know what that means? I hold the buttons down as instructed, then the aforementioned screen comes up that fails...

That means, check, if there are no sd card inserted to phone. If so, remove it and try again.
