B970B - unlocked then what ?

Hi,

I successfully unlocked my VDF B970b but unfortunately it doesn`t read my SIM. I tried that 3G sim in another modem and it works perfectly.

Perhaps I should update its firmware, but I have not been able to locate a proper firmware for this modem.

When you access devices web gui/panel it shows message that no sim was detected in device or you just assumed so because it doesn't connect to internet?

It still has the old Vodafone interface, and my new 3G provider is not Vodafone

It is so because it is branded web gui/panel. Check if you can edit apn settings on it.
