Maybe you use your router to connect to the internet? Or are there more modems/phones connected to pc? Have you tried to detect it while being offline?
I have tried turning wifi off, which gives the same result.
I'm not sure what you mean by using the modem for internet access. There is no functioning internet access using the Huawei. It does not connect to the operator (The Mode LED on the modem is red). I have internet access using wifi.
Maybe you have a possibility to try to detect router on another computer, and are you sure you run dc-unlocker as administrator by clicking right on it's icon and selecting run as... or run as administrator?
On the Windows 2000 PC, I can't find a firewall, and I can't find the UAC settings. I am logged in as Administrator. I get an IP-address from the DHCP server in the modem and I can ping the modem. However DC-unlocker says modem not found!

Could you contact us via live support chat, then we would be able to test beta software created for this router's improved detection.
hi sir. please.. send to me the beta software. i need it.. dont connect this [email protected]..
thanks in advance
There is no beta software, do not quite understand you. What problem you have? if you can not connect router to software check this:
Make sure all drivers are installed or whatever else comes in device's drive
Make sure device is visible in device manager
Make sure modems connection software/WEBUI/Dashboard is installed, but not running. (if there is one)
Use Autodetect on DC-unlocker “select model” line.
Make sure modem is not connected to internet.
