When DC unlocker-client detects my e586, it shows in the spec panel as "unlocked."
However, when I went to the Vodafone shop to try it with one of their data SIMs, the 586 gave an "Invalid SIM" message.
(Background note: I've NOT taken any action to get it unlocked myself. I had earlier begun the tortuous process of paying "3" for the official unlock code, but aborted that and accepted a refund when it became clear they were dragging their feet.)
Either the device is unlocked, or it isn't. Is the "unlocked" status in the DC panel not always accurate, or were Vodafone using a faulty SIM?
