Paid 7 credits to unlock Huawei E586 - not working -- help

Dear DC Unlocker staff,

I paid 7 credits to have my Huawei E586 unlocked and while the SIM is unlocked, I still cannot add a new network profile to use the unlocked SIM. Can you please provide the 8 digit SIM unlock code to unlock the device and allow me to add a new APN?

This device was already unlocked and available to use with other provider sim cards. If you can't add new profile then it means that web gui/panel is customized, therefore you need to find firmware of your device which would have generic web gui/panel where you would be able to add/edit profiles.

Thank you so much for your quick reply. After I posted my request for help and the unlock code, I've spent a whole day reading the forums and discovered the dark world of custom firmware / dashboards.

I've attempted all the steps and techniques in this thread https://www.dc-unlocker.com/forum/showthread.php?t=7393 pages 1-9

To include
- DC Unlocker 2 which unlocked SIM and can always detect Huawei E586
- Mobile Partner which works ok and detects Huawei E586
- DTHuaweiTools_v6, which do not detect the Huawei E586
- DTHuaweiDashboardWriter_v10.exe does not detect Huawei E586 but does work for creating ISO from Huawei E586, but I get "error opening ISO file" when opening with DTHuaweiEditProfilePro.vmp.exe
- Have downloaded other versions of Mobile Partner from Huawei website which in turn updates E586 drivers, but that does not work either.

I am pretty much at a loss. I thought the 7 EUR would get me an rocking and rolling Mifi, but instead I now see I must replace the firmware / dashboard to get the functionality I want (to use Smart, Globe and Sun internet on one device in the Philippines).

Do you have any more suggestions of what I can try next? I am IT savvy, have time available but am on a slow connection.

Any links of where people find Huawei firmware? So far cannot find for E586 and even if I could, cannot see my device with the tools except DC Unlocker 2 and Mobile Partner.

PS - Running win7 x64 and have run the apps as admin and with compatibility mode.

Sorry, but DC-Unlocker does not have tools to change dashboard/firmware of this device, therefore we do not have information of where about generic firmware could be found for this device. Huawei Dashboard creator/writer is for modems that connect to pc via usb directly only.
