I tried to unlock a Huawei e398 (Telenor) and got an error.
Payed 4 credits anyway

Please check if device was unlocked, even though you got this error, unlock might have been done successfully.

Unfortunately not. It is still locked.

Have you tried to unlock it again? Unlocking same device does not require any additional credits in your account. Make sure there are no other modems/phones connected to pc at unlock time.

I updated the drivers and the firmware with one I found somewhere on the net and then it worked at least. Tank you!

Now the last problem is that firmware is still branded and I would like to get a unbranded one, installing unbranded Mobile Partner as well. I would prefer the latest original firmware from Huawei.

Can someone help with that too?
