I have downloaded the dc-unlocker software and hence trying to unlock the modem E1732 idea India...but I am getting error message as:

Is there other provider (not original) sim inserted to device when you detect it?

yes i am inserting an AIRTEL sim card...the dongle's original sim is IDEA..

Maybe there are modem modems connected to your computer? If so, disconnect them.
Also, be sure modem software is closed and all modem drivers are installed.
Try reinstalling modem,.

thanks...when i am inserting the modem in the usb port...then i am starting the mobile partner software and connecting to internet...after which i am clicking the dc-unlocker to unlock the modem...then i receive the message which i have already told you...do i need to try something else..and kindly tell me what do you mean by reinstalling the modem..???

To detect modem correctly you should insert another operators sim inside the modem than the one it works with. Then connect it to pc and attempt to detect by dc-unlocker. NOTE: there can't be other modems connected to pc at detect/unlock time. If you are doing all those steps correctly and modem is detected as unlocked on dc-unlocker then it means it is unlocked already.

thanks..i did what u had asked me to inserted AIRTEL SIM insted of IDEA...and then tried for automatic detection of my modem...the output which i received on doing the those is already posted..kindly help me by interpreting whether my dongle is unlocked or not..????

If there is invalid sim (other operators one) inside the modem and it is detected as unlocked by dc-unlocker, then it means that modem is unlocked already or never was locked.

If you detect your modem while there is another operators sim inside in it than the one that it was locked to, and it is detected as unlocked, then yes, it is not locked.
