Unlock Huawei E5832 WiFi Modem Fail with error code 21.

  • Unlock Huawei E5832 WiFi Modem Fail with error code 21.

    Hi I bought enough credit to unlock my modem. During the unlock process went smoothly until the message "Now press "SHIFT" key and hold while modem restarts!", I did press and hold the shift key while modem restart. However the unlock process failed with error code 21. I'm using DC - Unlocker 2 Client 1.00.0388 with Windows XP with service pack 2. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the DC-unlock client software and the modem software three to four time (with the modem software closed during unlock process). I did even tried on another computer however the result is the same. I would be highly appreciate of someone kindly help me out!!!

    I have enclosed some log during unlock process as below for your reference:

    Unlocking, please wait ...

    Preparing Boot Download mode ... OK
    Reading Unlock code ... OK

    Now press "SHIFT" key and hold while modem restarts!

    Restarting modem ... OK

    unlock failed !

    (error code 21)

    Please be note that before the unlock process I have the software detect the modem and the status of the modem are as below:

    "SIM Lock status : Locked (Card Lock)".

    Sometimes this modem unlock needs few attempts to unlock. Could you try restarting computer and unlocking again? Check, if no other modem is connected to computer at unlock time. check, if use autodetect function in dc-unlocker software when detecting modem.

      Hi thank you for your reply, I did tried restart the computer and re-tried few more times with auto detect of my modem. However the result are the same. Could you please kindly let me know how to unlock my modem?

      For your information, during re-try unlock my modem. I was even trying to remove the modem hardware in Windows (except the USB storage of modem). The DC-Unlock Client software can detect the modem, however the unlock process is still no success. The error code 21 come out at the end of process. I have even tried it on mac while running VM ware, however the result is the same.

      I would be highly appreciate if you can help me out.

        Could you contact us by live chat from our web page? Then we could read some information from modem and try to check, what may be wrong.

            Hi I was tried to communicate with your support team. However I think due to the time zone different, when I'm online most of the time your support team is offline. May I know what is your operate hours and what time zone your support team are locate? I'm on GMT +10 time zone (Brisbane - Australia).

              Live chat working hours from 9 to 17 GMT. Sometimes later you can find live chat online too.

                Hi,

                Have the same Problem.. The Device is from 3 with a Software Version 666.xx.xx

                Got also some Devices from Orange and unlocked them without any Problem but didnt care about the Version of them.

                Maybe cause the Firmware Version is not possible?

                    same problem here!!! I've tried restarting computers again and again, but still can't unlock the device...

                    spending too much time and i'm going to pay virgin to unlock it, can i have my money back?

                      The unlock code was readed and credits were spent. Please contact us by live chat from our web page, I will write you the unlock code and how to enter it to modem.

                        sorry but too late mate, i suppose the unlock program should work with a couple of clicks but sadly not, spent almost a day fiddling with it as i needed it urgently and now virgin earned the bucks as they were the only solution i could have found (and worked right away)

                        please just do a refund and hope your programs works without having to wait till the live chats online thanks.

                          Normally people if have problems contact us for help first. Thats why we have live chat. If the problem appear, user can contact the live chat and solve the problem. Today you began to unlock again at about 3:00 GMT+2 time. We are in Europe and it is night time, so it is normal the no one was on live chat at that time. Other thing. On 11th on March we had country independence day. And it is not working day here. But even that day live chat was online from 18 GMT+2.
                          Other thing is that we have not only live chat. We have e-mail. We check e-mail regullary on not working days also. Usually e-mail is replyed in few hours. But you did not contact by e-mail.
                          Money refund is not a problem.
