  • E160 simlock?

    Hello,
    I have a new Huawei E160 from provider Fonic. (Germany)
    I tried the dc-unlocker2client and the following message is shown:

    Detecting card :

    Found modem : E160
    Firmware : 11.604.18.01.00
    IMEI : 354764033541684
    Serial Nr. : XXX
    SIM Lock status : unknown(read failed)


    sorry, this card not supported !

    Please, check manufacturer's selection !

    What can i do now?

    Check, if you use the latest dc-unlocker software version. This modem is supported for sure. Be sure you select huawei as manufacturer and model leave autodetect when detecting.

      I did it, but still the same message.
      The version i used is; V1.00.0143

        You use very old version. now here is 388 version. Here you cab download it: http://www.dc-unlocker.com/downloads/get/uXwjw8Ll
        Use this version and modem will be supported.

            Be sure there is no sim in modem at detect time. Only then dc-unlocker show correct lock status.
