We have it here. But have no solution to unlock it.

I have the same problem, can you guys tell me if its possible to extract the firmware from the E1552 model that can be unlocked and then update the model that cannot, with the extracted firmware?

Not possible to extract the firmware? Or not possible to load the extracted firmware on the "Red box" model?

On the E220 model it was possible to extract the firmware to a .bin file, I'm not good enough to make that into an .exe file, but maybe you can, if its possible to use Qmat to extract the firmware

And tried out the info, which resulted in this:

Does that mean that the modem is REALLY unlocked or am I missing something?

To check, if it is locked you can try connecting using this mdoem with other provider sim and you will see. But I think it is not unlocked. Because we have no solution for unlocking these modems. Dc-unlocker may write unlocked and the modem that has this firmware version would be not unlocked.
