E960 error

Dear all,

i have an E960, i connect it to my computer using USB cable and the dc-unlocker states that it is already unlocked
But when i instert a sim card from a different GSM provider it give an error about an invalid sim card

seems that the firmware on it is announcing that it is unlocked while it is not

i think the solution is to re-fash a generic firmware, is this possible ?

Is there sim inserted at detect time? Try detect without sim inserted. If modem is still unlocked, then you need to check the fallowing: What conenction software do you use? Is it branded (customized by provider)? With unlocked modem you need to use not customized software and enter your new provider conenction settings (APN, username and others).
