Downloaded DC-unlocker client software V1.00.0388, bought 10 credits. Have O2 Huawei E160. Ran software on W7 64 PC, says card not found. Ran on Vista 32 PC, says card not found. On W7 64 PC, device manager says the device is on COM9, but DC-unlocker wont allow me to look there. What do I do?

If you can not detect modem you should check the fallowing:
Check, if the drivers are installed
Check, if the connection for this modem is closed and modem is not connected to internet
Check, if you use autodetect function in dc-unlocker software
Check, if you use latest dc-unlocker software version.

If you want to enter the ports manually, then you need to select modem model, not to leave it autodetect.

Both PCs see the modem, device manager says that the drivers are installed. Modem is not connected to the internet: I have removed the sim card. I have used both auto-detect and manual detect. In manual detect, the required com port does not show in dc-unlocker (need com port 10, only shows 1 and 2). What to do?

Check, if no connection software is running. It should be closed too. Try to detect on windows xp.

Still no luck. Device manager sees device on COM4, but dc-unlocker cannot find it. I have attached a screen dump. What to do?

Try to configure the ports manually, if application port is COM4, diag port should be COM5 or something. You can select them, try them out!

O2 already unlocked, no need to unlock

Could you open device manager. Find your modem there, then go to modem properties and check what com ports it uses?
Then go to ports section of device manager and check what com port is there?
After it open dc-unlocker software, select your modem manufacturer and model. Com port number that you found in modems section enter as application port and port number that you found in ports section enter as diagnostic. Then try to detect. If still can not detect, try to change ports places
