Vodafone Huawei K3520 from UK is not locked. You can put into any SIM card of any network operator....create connection profile with right APN and connect to the net

You can find the settings procedure into other thread of this forum.
I suggest you to use original Huawei Mobile Partner software management instead of any other branded network operator software.
APN setting for UK you find at http://www.flexispy.com/Mobile%20APN...use%20GPRS.htm

I don't know what application you use...

For Huawei Mobile Partner steps are:

              a) Open the Mobile Partner program
              b) Click - Tools > Options > Profile Management > New
              c) Under "Profile Name" enter a friendly name e.g. Vodafone Profile
              d) Under "APN" select "Static" and enter the mobile operators APN (click here for UK APN settings).
              e) Under Authentication
Access Number: *99#Username: "Operator username" (Operator usernames can be found here)Password: "Operator password" (Operator passwords can be found here )
              f) Click OK and confirm you want to save the changes.

You have two way. One is to change definitively the internal dashboard software of the modem dongle (and lost warranty if there is), and the other is to install only into PC the unbranded software management.

Be sure original conenction software is closed after you start mobile partner.
This may solve error that device is disconnected.

Both software should be installed. After you connect modem wait till original software starts and finds the modem. Then close original software and start mobile partner.
