Maybe there are more huawei device connected at same time when you try to detect? If so, disconnect them and try to detect again.
Also, can try older dc-unlocker software version -1074 Maybe this will help.

Thanks for the reply Vincentas. I have tried to install the 1074 in a another computer with no other huawei device ever installed in it but still the same problem. I am guessing it might be the firmware version of the phone which shows shows as: APP-FP615H-6245-V100R001C07B103/851.11.07.01.103

I understand that an unlock code can be generated for the phones because the phone requests for unlock code when you start the phone. Does anyone know how to generate unlock code for the phone using the IMEI number please using the DC-Unlocker?

Try to detect it as Huawei Modem see what information you get on software then.

          Hi Valdemaras,
Thanks a lot for the reply. I have tried to detect it as a modem and the DC-Unlocker software detects the phone. There is not option to unlock it but it gives me option to generate Unlock code by IMEI and to generate firmware code by IMEI. I have tried to generate the codes but it does not generate the right codes. For example, I had one of this phones which my supplier from china supplied me with an unlock code for it. Here is the IMEI and unlock code that my supplier gave me:

          IMEI * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *Unlock Code
          357786031630885 * * * 1312142723524615

If I put the same IMEI code on the DC-Unlocker software, here is the code it gives me for :

          IMEI * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *Unlock Code
          357786031630885 * * * 62897645

And this is the firmware code the DV-Unlocker gives me

          IMEI * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *Firmware Code
          357786031630885 * * * 47221429

Am not sure how to genetrate the correct unlock code for it. It should be:
          IMEI: 357786031630885 Unlock code:1312142723524615
I will appreciate if anyone can help me out. Here is the IMEI for the phone I need to unlock: 357786031161956

Generated code does not fit for it because you have detected it as modem. Does it have sim inside when you perform detection? it should have invalid sim inside. Do you see lock status when it is detected as modem?

Okay, lets try something different then. Open device manager window. You should see lines there related to your phone (under modems and under ports lines). Write those lines names (full names) here.

Okay, right click on that line that appears under Modems. Select properties. then open modems tab and see there what COM port number is shown. It will be your application com port. Now close it. Open computer area where all drives/cdroms are visible check if phones drive is there, if it is -right click on it and select eject. Now open dc-unlocker software, select manufacturer (Huawei phones) and model, then write in com ports - Application from modems line, Diagnostics from ports line, try to detect it then. See if you get more info on detection this way.

                          Hi,
You lost me there. I could not follow your intrutions. I got to the part where I opened the properties of the mobile adapter from device manager. When I open computer and try to eject the Phone, nothing happens. Do I unplug the phone from the computer? after that, please break down the steps for me so I know what exactly to do as do not understand what next to do.
Thanks so much for the help.

                            1. Right click on that line that appears under Modems in Device manager.
                            2. Select properties. then open modems tab on new opened window.
                            3. See there what COM port number is shown. It will be your Application com port.
                            4. Open computer area where all drives/cdroms are visible.
                            5. Check if phones drive is there, if it is - right click on it and select eject. Ignore this step if nothing happens when you eject it.
                            6. Open dc-unlocker software, select manufacturer (Huawei phones) and
model, then write in com ports - Application from modems line, Diagnostics from ports line.
                            7. Try to detect it then. See if you get more info on detection this way.
