You do not have to pay again for unlocking same device. You just need to perform direct unlock like shown in the tutorial while you are logged in with same username/password.

Thanks but I can't work out how to do it. Have attached the screen snap shot where I get nowhere.

NB: In the messages it says it is unlocked but with a non Telstra SIM is says the unit is locked

As i said earlier there must be not telstra sim inside the device when you detect/unlock it, otherwise it will show you incorrect lock status and unlock button will be inactive.
